Job Title: Office Assistant

Location: Sechelt, BC

Job Description: If you are passionate about design, detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess problem-solving and proactive thinking skills, we have an exciting opportunity for you. At Emerge Design Studio, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Part-time position, Monday to Thursday 20hrs+ a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize design-related documents

    Update and maintain client databases

    Handle incoming phone calls and correspondence

    Assist in organizing meetings and appointments

    Book travel arrangements when necessary

    Prepare project quotes and assist in placing orders

    Contribute to event planning activities

    Social media content support

    Provide support in growth planning and strategy

    Handle PST/GST-related tasks

    Manage incoming and outgoing mail

    Assist with various other office tasks and organizational activities

Qualifications:

  • Passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail

    Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

    Strong problem-solving abilities

    Proactive and self-motivated with a can-do attitude

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Proficient in Microsoft Office

    Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
